As true Holland fans, we have fulfilled our dream of a house in the Netherlands. We fell in love with Lemmer from the beginning and would like to share it with you. We were looking for something that could be visited in a manageable time, but at the same time immerses you in another world. Without having to fear that an airline #thomascook will go bankrupt again, Lemmer can be reached even with the charging of an electric car. We enjoy sitting by the water in the idyllic inner city of Lemmer and watching the boats entering and leaving. Ourselves as dog owners, we feel very comfortable among the Dutch, who also love animals, and the section of the beach specially designed for dogs speaks for itself. Of course, we make sure that no legacies are left to keep the well-tended green and beach sections as well as they are.

Bring your own boat, start directly from the house to explore the Frisian lakes, canals and the IJsselmeer or rent your sailboat / motorboat on site. There are many opportunities for this. There are more than a handful of ports in Lemmer, so logistics for pleasure craft is almost ingenious.
